| Piteå is a town in the north of Sweden but below the Arctic Circle.
The population is about 50.000 people in the whole community and around 10.000 in the town.
The most of the population speaks decent English and in the stores you can count on that they will help you to find what you would like.
The Pitebo(the ones living in Piteå) is very helpful and pleasant. With it’s bright summer nights Piteå often has the highest amount of hours with sun in Sweden.
Piteå Havsbad – called the Rivera of Norden – is a big hotel and camping area with pools, beaches and several outdoor and indoor activities. There is also Skeppet - a place where you can play with slides and so on. There is several things to go to – both for children and adults.

There are several pottery shops and artists with different styles and prizes, glass works, painters and other different artists.
